Shopify jewelry POS integration
When most of your stock is one of a kind, reconciling the website and the showcase by hand is not a workflow - it is a risk. PIRO Retail keeps items, availability, orders and customers connected across both channels, in real time.
The problem
A retailer with a website and a showcase is running two inventories unless something keeps them synchronised. With unique pieces, every hour of drift is a chance to sell the same ring twice - or to hide a piece from a customer who would have bought it.
“Is this still available?”
Availability should not depend on when the last export ran.
“Who updates the website?”
Product data maintained twice is product data that will disagree.
“Where did this order go?”
Online orders belong in the same queue your team already works from.
How it works
Photos, descriptions, attributes and prices are maintained once in PIRO Retail and published to Shopify. There is no second catalog to keep tidy and no drift between what the website says and what is in the case.
A piece sold at the counter comes off the website; a piece sold online is reserved in store. One-of-a-kind jewelry is exactly where sync latency hurts most, which is why this is continuous rather than a nightly file.
Web orders arrive in PIRO Retail alongside in-store activity, so fulfilment, pickup, resizing requests and returns are handled by the same team in the same place.
Stock in different locations and the workshop maps to the right availability, so the website is not promising a ring that is sitting in another store's safe.
What you get
A customer who buys online and brings the piece in for sizing is the same customer. Their purchases, repairs, custom orders and preferences sit on one record, which is what makes follow-up worth doing at all.
That shared history is also what feeds clienteling later - outreach based on what somebody actually owns, not on a generic list.
Connected
The catalog Shopify publishes is the same jewelry inventory your showcase uses, including memo goods and loose stones. Pieces produced as custom orders can be listed when they are finished, and service requests that arrive from online buyers become tracked repair jobs.
Questions
No. Shopify stays your storefront. PIRO Retail is the operational system behind it - inventory, POS, repairs, custom orders - and keeps the two in step.
Continuously, rather than on a nightly export. For one-of-a-kind jewelry that is the difference between a clean sale and an apology email.
In PIRO Retail. Item attributes, photos and prices are managed once and pushed to Shopify, so the two never disagree.
It lands in PIRO Retail with the rest of the day's activity: the item is reserved, the customer is on file, and fulfilment or in-store pickup is handled like any other job.
